Mia was born and raised in Pittsburgh and wanted to be an ESPN sports broadcaster when she was 6 years old.
She lived in New York City for 7 years and worked as a makeup artist on jobs such as Project Runway Allstars, New York Magazine, and Chelsea Piers campaign.
Mia makes mean guacamole and olive oil cake.
